The Story

  • Blade is crafted of multiple layers of rust-resistant stainless steel, brass and copper with a VG-10W steel core; VG-10W is an improved version of VG-10 with added tungsten for increased durability and the same high corrosion resistance; 62 Rockwell Hardness
  • Saji-san's signature "Rainbow" Colored Damascus steel is highly polished to a mirror finish enhancing the bright gold colors of the copper and brass cladding
  • Ebony wood octagonal handle is nicely fitted to the blade; Includes wood gift box
  • Handmade in Echizen, Japan by Takeshi Saji
