The Story
- Shiranami, meaning "white-capped wave" in Japanese, reflects the knife's stunning blade pattern
- Dual core construction; 71 alternating micro-layers of VG10 and VG2, high-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel extend all the way to the edge
- Layers are forge welded together and roll forged to give a finer grain to the steel and to create the wave-inspired Damascus pattern that allows the layers to alternate along the cutting edge
- Full composite tang resin-stabilized jute micarta handle is waterproof and contoured for comfort with a secure grip
- Forward-tilting bolster enhances pinch grip and provides perfect balance, ensuring precision and control with every cut; embossed stainless steel endcap
